Sea Isle’s New Site/
Hilarious. Council meeting in an Ohio town. Someone had a farting application on their iPhone and let it fly during council session. First time in history a recess was taken during a government meeting due to electronic flatulence and subsequent laughter.
Sea Isle Folks, the city has a nicely done new website which should make communication with happenings on the island much easier. Case in point is below. On the site is their “Major Initiatives for 2009.” You’ll note that, among many other items, there is to be beach walk mats at every beach entrance. Smart move. Additionally, they’re now on the record for a Memorial Day Weekend opening of the amusement park as well as a June completion of the promenade along the bay. Many interesting items here, including demo of current beach patrol headquarters (September) and construction of new building by summer, 2010.
