Polar Plunge
Sea Isle City Polar Plunge, 2008
Bill McGinn, left, and Frank Edwardi in the hot pink bikini came were awarded second place in the $5.00 Wal-Mart Costume category.
Great time. While I didn’t go in, thousands did. The city did a wonderful job promoting the event and it has grown tremendously since its inception 14 years ago. There were thousands on the beach watching and Landis Ave was closed between 40th and 42nd streets to accommodate the crowds. The bars and restaurants were all packed. Next year, Bubba Dogs will be open. Really a great day and highly advise putting it on the 2009 calendar.
